1. Rifle. All tactical rifles on the inventory of Pakistan Army are
permitted, provided these rifles qualify following pre-requisites (also
applicable to civilian shooters): -
a. Maximum Wt. 22 lbs.
b. Caliber. .308.
c. Magazine. Functional magazine (Fixed / Removable).
d. Bipod. Removable folding.
e. Minimum Trigger Weight. 3 lbs.
f. Maximum Barrel Length. 28” (excluding the muzzle
breaks).
g. Prohibited Weapons. Bench rest rifles and F Class
rifles originally made for F TR and F Open matches are
not permitted.
h. No rifle sharing is allowed in this match.
i. The monopod can be used if integral to the rifle by the
OEM.
2. Ammunition. 20 rounds
3. Practices
a. Practice - 1 (600 Meters). Rifle must not have been
fired on day of the competition.
(1) Distance. 600 Meters.
(2) Target. 600 meters target with scoring area
depicted by two vertical lines 18" apart on
standard 600 meters target. Scoring will be of

(3) Position. Lying, then shift as per conduct.
(4) Conduct. One cold bore SHOT from lying
position followed by 4 rapid shots at 600
meters from lying position using the bipod. Then
open bolt, change/ shift position behind a 3 to
4 sand bags high wall or to standing in trench,
using given route, load and fire 5 shots on the
target using or without using bipod. No sighters
are allowed. No rear rest allowed other than
beans bag weighing 1 lb (max). Each round
must be cycled from magazine. No manual
single loading is permitted except for the stuck/
double fed round.
(5) Time. 5 minutes for preparation. 5 minutes to
complete the firing of both parts of practice 1,
including the shifting of position.
b. Practice 2 - UKD. This practice will be fired in one
detail only, formed by the top shooters, who qualify on
merit from each detail of Practice 1.
(1) Distance. Unknown (To be calculated by
shooter/ spotter).
(2) Target. Man Size Figure 2 target printed on
1000 meters target (less outer ring). Scoring
will be of the hits on the green figure-2 target
only, as per scoring rings over-lapping with
figure 2 target.

(b) Practice-2 (UKD). The qualifier teams from practice-1
will fire 10 rounds in 10 minutes in one detail at UKD. No
sighters allowed.
8. The match will be decided on the score of practice-2.
9. Tie Breaking. By counting hits in X, 10, 9 and so on.
10. In case less than 10 teams or maximum 10 teams are
participating, then all will qualify for practice-2. In this case the match will
be decided on the aggregate score of both the practices. Then tie break

will be the qualifying stage for the moving target practice. A team of 2 x
shooters will participate. Team will use one rifle.
a. Practice-1 (Night Fire – 600). Night firing with night
vision device permitted.
(1) Distance. 600 m
(2) Target. Figure-2 human silhouette

(4) Time. 5 minutes

(2) Target. Moving Target Figure-2
(3) Position. Standing in trench
(4) Time. Duration of the exposure while target is
covering the distance (will be same time for all
shooters). The time/ speed will be
communicated after testing the moving tgt
system.
(5) Ammo. 5 rds per shooter
(6) Conduct. The team will fire in one detail. Both
members will fire one by one on the respective
target. The score of the team will be aggregate
score of both shooters. When shooter is ready,
the target will appear moving from left to right or
right to left (the shooter will be informed about
the direction of movement). The shooter will fire
5 x bullets during one exposure. No shot will be
fired after the command “STOP”. If shot is fired
after “STOP” then best valued bullet will be
deducted.
(7) No sighters allowed.
4. The winner team will be decided on the score of practice-2 only.
5. In case less than 10 teams or maximum 10 teams are
participating, then all will qualify for practice-2. In this case the match will
be decided on the aggregate score of both the practices. Then tie break
will be as following: -
(a) By best score in moving target fire.
(b) By counting hits in X, 10, 9 in aggregate score of both
the practices.

1. Rifle. Rifle G3 with any Telescopic Sight. DMR, PSG 1 and other
rifles of G3 family with heavy barrels are not permitted.
2. Caliber. 7.62 x 51.
3. Ammo. 20 x rounds (10 x rounds per each practice).
4. Distance. 400 Meters and 600 Meters.
5. Sighters. Unlimited sighters in 10 minutes (from 400 Meters only).
6. Spotters. Spotter will be allowed.
7. Position. Standing in trench, rested. Only sand bag/ 1 lb beans
bag allowed as front and rear rest respectively.
8. Practices
a. Practice - 1. Fire 10 x shots in 10 minutes (from 400
Meters) on figure 2 target superimposed on 4’ x 4’ frame.
b. Practice - 2. Fire 10 x shots in 10 minutes (from 600
Meters) on figure 2 target superimposed on 4’ x 4’ frame.
c. The winner will be decided on aggregate score of practice
1 and 2.
d. The bullets hitting the green figure-2 target only will be
counted. The remaining frame is just for correction and to
know the near missed bullets and not for scoring.

a. By best score in Practice - 2.
b. By counting hits in X, 10, 9 and so on, in the combined
score of both the practices.

with medical compulsion). Front and rear rests are allowed.
4. Distance. 1500 Meters.
5. Sighters. 5 x Sighters in 5 minutes.
6. Practice. 5 rounds will be fired on allotted target within 5
minutes. Shooter may integrate spotter for spotting duties. Top scorers
from each detail will qualify for finals.
7. Finals. The selected firers from each detail will fire in the finals.

shot and positions will be decided on the aggregate
score.
(b) No final will be conducted.
(c) Cartridges can be used as per Trap Olympic rules only.
(d) The shooters will fire from 5 x stations in a squad.
3. Sporting Clays
(a) The match will consist of 3 x rounds of 25 x targets
each.
(b) The targets will depict various game shots as
confronted in the field.
(c) The shooters will fire in a squad from the designated
stations.
(d) The match will be decided on the aggregate score of
3 x rounds.
(e) No final will be conducted.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR MATCHES
1. Age Brackets (For Participation)
a. Veteran of the Sport – Includes seniors 60 years of age and above (as of 31st December 2020).
b. Youth Category – Includes Boys / Girls with 17 years of age and below (as of 31st December 2020).
2. Special Instructions (Open Matches)
a. If the entries are less than 5, match will not be conducted.
b. If the entries are 5 or more, the match will be conducted.
c. In case it is not possible to hold / reschedule a match (due to a cogent reason or circumstances beyond
control), the match will stand cancelled.
3. Special Instructions (Veteran of the Sport’ Matches)
a. The medal will be awarded to the participating veteran irrespective of number of entries.
b. The honorarium will be awarded only if the minimum veteran entries are 3.
c. Any veteran of the sport winning medals in both the categories (veterans and open) of a particular match,
will receive both the medals. However, he will be awarded only one honorarium (the highest in amount).
d. In case more than one veteran qualifies for the final, the decision of the winner will be made on the score of
the final.
e. If only one veteran qualifies for the final, he will become the winner (in veteran’s category) irrespective of the
qualification score. If no veteran qualifies for the final, then the winner will be decided on the respective
qualification score irrespective of the details.
f. In team matches, the medals will be awarded irrespective of number of veteran teams. The honorarium will
be awarded only if minimum 2 x veteran teams have entered the match.
