Leviton is pleased to announce the expansion of our PowerSwitch™ Mechanical Interlock devices with the addition of a Circuit-Breaker version. This new Mechanical Interlock integrates a 100A circuit-breaker and IEC receptacle in a non-metallic Type 4X enclosure that meets washdown and corrosion resistant requirements.

For safety, the switch is designed to prevent the possibility of making or breaking the connection under load. The switch cannot be turned to the “ON” position unless a plug is fully engaged with the receptacle. Once turned on, the plug is locked in place and cannot be removed until the switch is moved to the “OFF” position.
