OR

What Does a Local Area Coordinator Do?
Stories
Local People in Control
LACs really listen – they don’t judge or assess.
They take time to get to know us – me, my family, my community.
We have more Choices. It’s not just about services.
They help me to have a voice – to be heard & listened to.
There used to be so many people It’s nice to have one person I know well.
They support and challenge me to do more for myself. I feel more confident now. I’m proud I don’t need
services anymore!
