We wear goggles to keep our eyes safe.

APRONS
We wear an apron to keep our skin and clothes safe, clean and dry.

GLOVES
We wear gloves to protect our hands from smelly liquids or dangerous materials. Gloves are
important to wear when touching animal
specimens.
FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
Listen to your teacher to know what
to do to be safe!
Don’t start a science lab until your teacher tells you what to do.
Don’t play around in the lab or classroom.
EATING DURING LABS
Never eat or drink anything during science unless your teacher says it is okay. My
teacher said I
could eat this after
my lab.

Smell by wafting (waving smells) toward your nose, not by sniffing.
