What is a résumé?
French meaning “summary” Concise summary of your
recent, significant, pertinent qualifications tailor-made for a specific purpose
Its purpose is to apply to something specific
Ranges from 1-2 pages Think carefully about the
style; must be appropriate to the position you’re applying for
Latin meaning “course of life” A comprehensive database of
your education, academic background, and extra-curricular activities
Its purpose is to keep track of everything you have done
As long as it needs to be Style is whatever works for
you

Your résumé comes from pulling experiences from
