3 Reasons why Portland Cement Zambia Fell

The Portland Cement Zambia has not

added a penny to its revenue this year.

The downfall began from April 2015 onward

when the Ventriglia family took over the

factory by force.

Though they are committing numerous crimes within the

factory premise, here are 3 biggest reason behind the

downfall of Portland Cement Zambia

Excessive cash extortion from the factory cash box

Removing workers from the factory. This eliminated the workforce

and hence, the production failed to reach its optimum output.

Lack of Government Support. The innocent workers didn’t stand a chance in

front of the financially and politically strong Ventriglia family. Most of the cases

against the Ventriglia were either dropped or remained undecided

Thus, we see how the

cement plant was abused

by the Ventriglia family

under various context.

As of now, the asset of the factory has also been

leased to third parties which including transfer of

43 trucks and premise of the factory.

Some experts say that the factory has become beyond repairable and

hence, would be put down even if Ital Terrazzo Limited (ITL) decided to

leave the factory in its current position.
