Moodle Login Directions The following are step-by-step instructions for logging into moodle for the first time. 1. Open your internet browser and type the following address into the address bar: http://dist-moodle.scesd.k12.or.us/ 2. Click on (Login) at either the bottom of the screen. 3. The first time you login, you will need to create a new account (on the right). Quickly read the steps for completion and click on create new account.

Moodle Login Directions The following are step-by-step instructions for logging into moodle for the first time. 1. Open your internet browser and type the following address into the address bar: http://dist-moodle.scesd.k12.or.us/ 2. Click on (Login) at either the bottom of the screen.

3. The first time you login, you will need to create a new account (on the right). Quickly read the steps for completion and click on create new account.

4. Fill in the information required. Enter your work email address in the email address boxes. When all of the boxes are filled, click on create my new account. Once submitted, it will send you a confirmation to the email address you provide.

5. Before you can go any further into the moodle site, you need to login to your email account and click on the link provided in the confirmation email.

6. When you click on the confirmation link, it will take you to the moodle site. Click on the courses button in the middle of the screen.

7. You will see a list of all the school districts. Locate and click on your district’s name.

8. The four topic areas are listed. You will need to complete each one. You may complete them in any order that you like. Click on one to access the materials.

9. To ensure that you enroll in the correct district, it will ask you for an enrollment key. Enter the key and click on enroll me in this course. Contact your district trainer if you do not know the enrollment key.

10. Under each course there are two choices. Click on item 1 and read/watch the information/video. Once you have read the information, go back one screen on the moodle site.

11. Click on item 2, the proficiency. 12. Click on attempt quiz now. 13. Read each question and click on the correct answer. You can push submit after you have chosen your answer or wait until the end. 14. Once you have answered all the questions, you can do one of two things:

1. If you have pushed submit after each question, push submit page at the bottom. 2. If you have not pushed submit after answering each question, push submit all and

finish at the bottom. 15. After you submit, you can review your quiz. When you are done reviewing, click finish review at the bottom.

16. You can reattempt the quiz or move on to the next one. Click on the name of the quiz at the bottom of the screen under your name to get back to the topic outline.

17. On the bottom left hand corner is the list of all the district names. Repeat steps 7 – 16 until all four topics have been completed.
