COMMENCEMENT OF INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS:

Ø Tirupati Airport has been declared International w.e.f. 20.06.2017

Ø AAI I ready with the Infrastructure to Establish INT’L Operations.

Ø A meeting was convened on 05.05.2016, 07.11.2016 & 27.06.2017 with all concerned Agencies likeCustoms, Immigration, NIC, State Police, CISF, APHO and Airlines.

Ø Customs Informed That They Shall Be Able To Establish Their Offices Within One Month Notice FromAAI, Subject to Declaration of Customs Airport by Their Ministry at New Delhi.

Ø Immigration Authorities have informed that necessary Manpower has been identified on deputationfrom the AP STATE POLICE and TRAINING has been imparted to them. OTHER items like Hardware /Software, OFC connectivity, BSNL & Railtel lines, Passport readers are established and finalsynchronization work is in progress. APHO New Delhi have assured that they shall establish within onemonth notice.

Ø Awaiting commencement of International operation and airline operator from MoCA.

COMMENCEMENT OF CARGO OPERATIONS :ØAAI has taken initiative to explore the possibility of establishment of Cargo

Operations at old terminal building of Tirupati Airport. Proposal is approved inprinciple and the detailed drawing is to be finalized for preparation of estimate.

ØA meeting was held with all stake holders and representative of Cargo Agenciesto Survey the Market Demand.

ØThe details of maximum cargo load which can be handled by Airlines are asfollows :
