3. Semester Freeze:

3.1 A student may discontinue his/her studies byseeking semester freeze during the semester

before the final term examination on medicalgrounds or circumstances beyond his/her controlwith the written permission of Chairperson/Principal/Director of the Department/College/Institute/Centerconcerned subject to the condition that semesterfee shall not be transferred/refunded.

3.2 A student may discontinue his/her studies byseeking semester break prior to enrollment in thesecond/subsequent semester on medical groundsor circumstances beyond his/her control with thewritten permission of Chairperson/Principal/Director of the Department/College/Institute/

Center concerned with the condition that thestudent has passed the final examination of theprevious semester with minimum prescribedGPA/CGPA required for academic standard of theUniversity to remain on roll. The student shall nothave to pay the semester fee; if deposited, the fee
