30 November- 2 December 2016
WelcomeIt is my distinct pleasure to invite you to attend the 2016 LGCOG Conference
in Geraldton from 30 November to 2 December.
The theme of this conference is “Changing the Norm”. I chose this theme
because I firmly believe that if we are to be successful as CEO’s and deliver
outstanding results for our communities we need to be continually challenging
the way we work and constantly challenging the “norm”.
The City of Greater Geraldton LGCOG conference has a number of international
experts who will be presenting on topics that I believe will challenge how we
work, how we think, and how we develop as professionals. The conference will
also explore some of the transformational results that have been achieved by
my team at the City of Greater Geraldton.
In putting together this programme, I wanted the conference to deliver real
opportunities for our professional and personal growth. I am hoping that
you will see the very real value of our conference programme and make the
investment and commitment to attend.
P.S. Of course it is not all work and there are some great opportunities for
networking and letting your hair down
