I sometimes use these before presentations - letting them play while people are getting settled to focus attention on the front of the room, using them as ice breakers, or as part of the presentation. In doing a presentation for a group of teachers, I asked them to watch the presentation as it looped during a break (I set the timing in PowerPoint to advance & give me 15 minutes) and pick one quote to write down that hit them.
