Course Syllabus: MBA Program
I. Course Description:
This course examines the purpose and responsibilities of the training and development function withinorganizations. It provides students with perspectives on the significance of training and development for improvedproductivity, efficiency and overall organizational performance. Students will learn and practice steps involved indesigning, delivering and evaluating training.
II. Course Objectives
The course is about the training and employee development and human performance improvement inorganizations. The field of training and development is changing. There is a need for trainers to reorient their thinking from the comfort and structure of the classroom to the more ambiguous consulting area. The gap isactually not nearly as wide as some might think. Trainers have considerable expertise in job and task analysis,learning specialists, facilitators, communication experts, and professionals with a broad perspective of the humandimensions of human performance in organizations.

Guidelines on Group Presentation on the given Topic:
Topics will be allotted to the Groups (3 students in a Group) in the 2nd Week of the Semester. Each group will have to presenton the given topics as and when instructed by the subject expert. Marks will be allocated based on the Content Quality,Presentation Quality and Group Participation.
Guidelines on MCQ QUIZ:
MCQ Quiz will be conducted twice in the Semester – in the 10 th Week and 13th Week - based on the syllabus completedtill that period of time. Student have to solve the MCQs individually during the quiz.
Guideline on CLASS PARTICIPATION
