The topographic team is playing a key role in the ongoing Mass Grave site assessment through change detection utilizing archival and current commercial satellite imagery

Provided image based products to assist in the search for weapons of mass destruction

Very little of Iraq’s map data survived combat operations and post war looting. In the effort to recover or reproduce this critical data, the Topographic Team has scanned in several hard copy maps and created vector data crucial in the rebuilding of the Iraqi infrastructure

The USACE has a Division size element flowing into Iraq and the Topographic Team will be a valuable asset fulfilling their mapping needs
