Hong Kong, Asia’s world city, is hosting a brand new Wine and Dine Festival with fabulous wines and delicacies at theNew Central Harbourfront from 31 October to 3 November 2013.

Organised by the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB), this annual event achieved instant worldwide recognition in its inaugural year in 2009, when it was named by ForbesTraveler.com as one of the world’s top 10 international food and wine festivals. This year, the festival will treat locals and visitors to a gourmet extravaganza in an exciting new venue, right in the heart of Hong Kong’s commercial centre and set against Victoria Harbour and its iconic skyline. The event will also include new elements this year and the usual offering of fine wines, cuisine and live entertainment. Don’t miss this spectacular event and the tremendous business opportunities that come with it!

The festival has grown quickly over the past four years and has earned much applause and recognition. The 2013 event will build on this momentum and further enhance the festival’s reputation. To give you a taste of what to expect this year, here are some highlights from the 2012 event:

High Satisfaction• An on-site survey revealed that the festival scored an overall satisfaction rate of 7.9 points (out of a 10-point scale), with 84% of the visitors saying they would come again in future years.• 78% of the exhibitors agreed that the event helped generate massive publicity and raised brand awareness.• Notably, 75% of exhibitors were impressed with the energy the event injected into the F&B industry, which led businesses into an exciting and rewarding season and reinforced Hong Kong's position as the premium wine hub of Asia.

Publicity ValueThe value of local and overseas publicity generated by the 2012 event exceeded HK$77 million. Sixty-three local media organisations and 56 foreign media organisations from 12 countries covered the event.
