Reg : Observance of Vigilance Awareness week (VAW) 2019- 28/10/2019 to 02/11/2019.

-Message through Digital Channels including mobile(SMS)

With a view to give wide publicity to our participation in VAW 2019, in accordance with

CVC guidelines, OM no 75 dated 07th October 2019 was placed before MD & CEO, who

have approved the use of CBS/IT platform for sending SMSs and also for display messages

on Facebook, Twitter space etc. A copy of OM is attached herewith for reference.

SMS to be sent to customers. At present several messages relating to transactions

are sent to customers. Keeping in mind the available space, we propose to send

below mentioned messages along with the transaction messages:

"please visit https://www.cvc.nic.in for integrity pledge". .—

In addition, a link to take integrity pledge can be sent to all the customers whose

mail id is regisFered with us.

Message on facebook page : The following message is proposed to be displayed on

facebook.

"Corruption is a dishonest or unethical conduct by a person entrusted with a

position of authority, either to obtain benefits to oneself or to some other person.

Though many stringent laws are in force, still corruption is prevalent in the system.

It is therefore imperative that public must be sensitized and motivated towards

efforts at weeding out corruption at public position. Central Bank of India appeals

to all citizens to stand against corruption and adopt honesty and integrity as a way

of life. Please take integrity pledge on http://www.cvc.nic.in
