My dear friends in Christ, I hope that your Easter season has been a meaningful and powerful one for you and for your families. Our parish community continues to give thanks to God for the beauty of this season. We have been raised with Christ to a new and glorious life. I just hope and pray that we understand the meaning of this event in our life and in human history. Through the Church we proclaim Christ to the whole world with our actions of compassion and love in the spirit of social justice and charity. He was made known through the works of great men and women like Mother Teresa, Dorothy Day, Francis of Assisi, who by their selfless spirit and dedication, have given hope to those who were helpless, courage to those of who were afraid, joy to those who were lonely, com-fort to those who were afflicted, companion to those who were alone and light to those who were in the darkness. We are invited to be part of this experience and this journey. With this I would like to share with you some pas-toral reminders that I hope will help us celebrate our life in the risen Christ more powerfully and grace. 1. OUR WEEKLY OFFERING. This is a form of stewardship recognizing that everything that we have comes from God. We are invited to return to God part of what we have received in thanksgiving. That is why it is important once more to remind ourselves that everything that we give should be done with meaning and joy. We need to pray about it so that it becomes a “gift from the heart.” 2. WE ARE A COMMUNITY, A BODY OF CHRIST. What is the meaning of this? One of saddest moments in my life was when I saw two men, after the Easter Sunday Mass, fighting in the parking lot. And I continue to see this in our daily experience. We should leave behind those attitudes that destroy the spirit of who we are---that we are one family who belong to the one who died and who is risen for us. The arrogance, the selfishness, the ignorance and everything that blocks us from experience the risen Christ should be thrown behind that stone of hatred and darkness. They have no place in the very place of our hearts! We are a redeemed people and we should act in this way all the time. May we continue to celebrate our faith and life always with joy and humility. In Christ, Fr. Geoffrey

It is with great joy that we celebrate with our young children who received the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist for the first time...

WELCOME TO THE EUCHARISTIC TABLE OF THE LORD Through our sharing the one bread and one cup

we are made one with Jesus and one with his Body, the Church.
