    OVERVIEW

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND

    LEARNING OUTCOMES

In petroleum production, completion is the process of making a well ready for production. Understanding the completionsprocess is important for many non-technical professionals working within the oil and gas industry. This course is intendedfor individuals with little to no prior completions knowledge who will benet from learning more about the completionsprocess.

The instructor, who has decades of boots on the ground experience, will discuss the steps of the well completionsprocess. Different types of completion design will be covered, including open-hole, perforated, gravel packed, fractured, and more. Attendees will leave the course with a basic understanding of wellbore and completion equipment and methods. The course will also address topics such as completion uids, stimulation, and testing methods.

Oil & gas professionals who require a fundamental overview of well completions, including: Landmen Support staff Administrative Environmentalists

Legal Analysts Consultants Personnel working indirectly with completion issues Engineering technicians Engineers-in-training

Attendees to this course will learn to: Address the basic steps of well completion Describe completion design options Identify completion equipment Discuss completion uids Evaluate cased hole log requirements Select perforating method Evaluate stimulation requirements Review completions testing methods
