SMPS TEST 1: To Force Power Supply On.
Disconnect P1100 and P1101 on Main PWB.Jump pin 2 to pin 3 thru a 10K Ohm resistor. As seen in the image to the left. This should force the SMPS to the on state. All Voltages should be produced. (6V, 19V, 12V)
SMPS TEST 2:To force the ballast on short pin 5 to pin 8 thru a 100 Ohm resistor.

Note: Stby 5V and AC Det must be present at all times.
Note: STBY 5V (P201 pin 8) and AC Det (ADC) (P201 pin 1) must be present at all times. Check both ends of the the cable. If AC Det missing, check ohms to see if shorted. If yes, replace responsible board. If not, jump STBY 5V to ADC. If Main board responds correctly, SMPS at fault. If not, Main board at fault.
