Dear Exhibitor, November 27, 2019

2018 is just about over and I know that many of you

schedule your state shows this time of year. Our 2019

Trade Show will be held at the Orange Beach Event

Center, Orange Beach, Alabama on March 14th &

15th. We had the show at the University of West

Alabama in Livingston for the past four years. We

have decided to make a change and take it South in

2019. The classes and exhibitor space will be superb

at our next show. Exhibitors will have 8x8 booths just

outside the classrooms. This should provide good

“traffic” for our exhibitors. Some equipment can be

parked on the inside depending on space. There will

be plenty of space just outside the front door of the

event center and we will provide “tailgate” tents outside. Sherry Bradley (ADPH) will send as

many of her folks as possible and we will try to get the Engineers that specialize in wastewater to

Orange Beach. I expect that our turnout of licensees, engineers, and environmentalists will be

much better than last year.

World renowned Chef Alan Nipp from Infiltrator will coordinate with us again this year for a

superb dinner. AOWA will provide entertainment during the dinner. We will have lots of

drawings and games such as an excavator rodeo. All in all, our show should be exciting and a

lot of fun and more productive for you.

We have blocked a limited number of rooms at the Springhill Suites. Reservations should be

made as soon as possible and our block of rooms will “expire” 30 days prior. When you call for

reservations, use Frost as the “password” to get one of the blocked rooms. There are many

accommodations in the local area.

The 2019 AOWA Annual Meeting, the Trade Show, and the continuing education training sessions for Installers, Pumpers, Tank Manufacturers, Portable Restroom Operators will be held at the Orange Beach Event Center in Orange Beach, Alabama on March 14th & 15th. *If we have a quorum this will be the AOWA annual meeting. If we do not have a quorum this will be an AOWA special meeting of the Board of Directors with the same agenda and all members are invited to attend.

HOTEL INFORMATION A block of rooms have been set aside at the Springhill Suites next door the Event Center for those attending the Annual Meeting, the Trade Show and training sessions. Room reservations must be made by no later than February 10, 2019 to get the special room rate. When making your reservation, be sure to specify that you are with the AOWA / Kristie Frost group to qualify for the AOWA group rate.

Exhibitors are responsible for making their own hotel reser-vations. Be sure to ask for the Kristie Frost Group Rate if you call the Hotel. The code is FROST.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY INFORMATION FOR EXHIBIT EQUIPMENT

IMPORTANT: At exhibit breakdown, you will be responsible for packing your equipment, labeling and marking cartons for pickup by your specific

package delivery company. If your equipment will be picked up by a package company (UPS, Fed Ex, Airborne, etc.) your company representative

must have appropriate forms and labels and know your company’s account number!

Liability Waiver: The Exhibitor agrees not to hold AOWA responsible for or make any claim against AOWA for loss, theft, damage or destruction

of Exhibitor’s property or personal injury during set-up, break down, or while trade show is in progress.

AOWA reserves the right to refuse space to any Exhibitor whose exhibit is not appropriate for the attendees or the industry.

STORAGE/FREIGHT HANDLING/DRAYAGE CHARGES ORANGE BEACH EVENT CENTER

Unless prior arrangements are made, items will only be accepted at the Event Cen-ter from 7am to 3pm, local time.

The storage fee is $25 per day per package; there may be an additional fee for storage of oversize packages.

If Orange Beach Event Center has to assist in the unloading of the/or the delivery of the package, an additional fee ranging from $10 to

$150, depending on the size and weight of package, will apply.

Arrangements can be made for outbound shipping as well, same terms apply.

Packages (Boxes, Crates, Pallets, Etc.) to arrive no more than 72 hours (3 Days) prior to the convention date.

Please inform Event Center staff if sending large amounts of packages as soon as possible to ensure space avail-ability. To insure proper delivery of packages, please address all packages as follows:
