    The New Format

    HMV has opened a new-look

    multichannel store in Cambridge

    that provides the direction of travel

    for the retailer, according to a

    spokesman. The 2 level store,

    ground & first floor, is located on

    Fitzroy St. Mr Barry, store manager,

    said that he hopes the store will

    become a community point.

    Technology Focus

    As well as being a local landmark

    building, with a four floor-high

    ballustraded atrium, the new

    store gives prominence to the

    HMV technology offer and has a

    caf where shoppers can sit and

    enjoy an inexpensive coffee, while

    surfing the net wi-fi is due to be

    installed imminently.
