dispenser
Do not add ice flom trays or bags to thestorage bin. It may not crush or dispense well.
Avoid overfilling glass with ice and use of
narrow or extra-tall glasses. Backed-up ice
can jam the chute or cause the door in the
chute to fleeze shut. If ice is blocking the
chute, poke it through with a wooden spoon.
Beverages and foods should not be
quick-chilled in the ice storage bin.
Cans, bottles or food packages in the
storage bin may cause the icemaker
or auger to jam.
To keep dispensed ice flom missing
the glass, put the glass close to, but not
touching, the dispenser opening.
Some crushed ice may be dispensed eventhough you selected CUBES. This happensoccasionally when a few cubes accidentallyget directed to the crusher.
AtYer crushed ice is dispensed, some watermay drip flom the chute.
Sometimes a mound of snow will form onthe door in the ice chute. This condition is
normal and usually occurs when you havedispensed crushed ice repeatedly. The snowwill eventually evaporate.
Dispensed water is not ice cold. For colderwater, simply add crushed ice or cubesbefore dispensing wateL
The first glass of water dispensed may bewarmer than the following ones. This isnoItllal.

Care and Cleaning
Built-In Refrigerators
Cleaning thecondenser
There is no need for routine condenser
cleanings in normal home operatingenvironments. However, in environments
that may be particularly dusty or greasy, the condenser should be cleaned (at least
annually) for efficient refiigerator operation.
To clean the condenser:
1. Turn off tim power at tim circuit breakeror fllse box. Wait about 30 minutes for
the condenser area to cool.
2. Raise the grille panel at tim top of tim
refligeratoL
3. Use a soft bristle brush to loosen dust and
lint on the condenser fins. Use a vactltlii1
hose to remove soil.
4. I,ower the grille panel.
5. Turn the power on at the fllse box orcircuit breakeL
Preparing"for vacation
For long vacations or absences, remove food
and shut off power to tim refligerator at timfilse box or circuit breaker. Clean the interior
(see Cleaning Inside). I,eave doors open.
For shorter vacations, remove perishable foodsand leave controls at regular settings. However,if the room temperature is expected to dropbelow 60°F (16°C), follow the same instructionsas for long vacations.
Set the icemaker power switch to the 0 (off)
position and be sure to strut off the water
supply to tim refligeratoL
Preparing"to move
Secure all loose items such as grille, shelves
and drawers by roping them securely in place
to prevent damage.
Be sure the refrigerator stays in an upright
position during moving.
