Course Pre-requisites

Course has no pre-requisites but participants having knowledge of fluid mechanicsand numerical methods would get extra advantage. Participants having no pre-vious knowledge of CFD can go through our blog “Introduction to CFD”. Thecourse assumes that you are well versed with the basics of Fluid mechanics and

Mathematics at early engineering graduation level.

The course will introduce you to fundamentals of fluid mechanics and numericalmethods and will progress towards detailed concepts of geometry creation andmeshing using the preprocessor ICEM CFD, and of CFD analysis using solverANSYS Fluent. Course Benefits

Being a basic course, participants will be taught all the required fundamentalconcepts and software know hows to analyze flow and heat transfer problems.Successful certification of this course enables a participant with gain proficiency inmodeling any type of flow/ heat transfer behaviour using ICEM CFD and ANSYSFluent.

Course Format

The class consists of lecture videos, which are broken into small chunks, usuallybetween fifteen and twenty minutes each. Total duration of the course would besix weeks. There will be approximately two to three hours of video content perweek. Software tutorials are made available for practicing and developing softwareskills on typical test cases. At the end of each session there will be assignment

to be taken each week and a final exam at the end of the course. You would beeligible for certificate if and only if you complete the course. The completion of the course would be decided on the basis of your solution to the problem set andassignments and would also depend upon your successful qualifying the the finalexam.
