ETh 50 Routine TheodoliteEasy-to-use, robust, precise, and fast routine theodolitebuilt for the building site
Surveying instruments need to bereliable and fast, and they shouldalso be easy to operatejust like theETh 50 routine theodolite from theZeiss Elta line of Trimblesurveying systems. Key featuresinclude: Coaxial slow motion drive and
clamp for rapid pointing. Easy-to-use menu driven
operationtraditional manualsettings made on opticaltheodolites are replaced with asimple button press or menufunction.
All measurement data can beviewed on the 4 line display, rapidly providing you with theresults that you need.
Electronics eliminate the errorsassociated with traditionaltheodolites. Because themeasurements are automated, time-consuming tasks such as readingthe circles and reducing the dataare eliminated.
The tubular level (plate bubble) isintegrated into the instrument, making it easy to level theinstrument.
From classical angle measurement, setting out right angles and checkingplumb, right through to alignmentmeasurementsthe ETh 50 can doit all.The ETh 50 provides a high qualityall round theodolite for routinemeasurements in and around theconstruction site.
Angle measurementthe easy wayElectronic scanning of the horizontaland vertical circles, with continuousdigital display of results, considerably speeds up themeasurement process, and eliminatesreading and estimation errors.
Angle control at the press of abuttonThe ETh 50 provides automaticcontrol over standard theodolitefunctions: Clockwise and counter-clockwise
angle measurement. Zero setting of the horizontal
angle in any direction.
Setting the horizontal circle to apredefined bearing.
Conversion of the vertical angle topercentage grade.
Definition of the zero direction ofthe vertical angle system, coveringa variety of conventions andapplications including: zenithangle, vertical angle, elevationangle, and % slope.
All measurement units supportedThe ETh 50 displays data in allinternational measurement units, and it allows you to select theresolution: Measurement system units: 360
DMS, 360 Decimal, 400Grads/Gon, 6400 mils.
Display resolution: from 1"(0.3mgon), 5" (1.5mgon), to 10"(3 mgon).
Operating convenienceThe ETh 50 has a clear keyboardlayout with just seven keys for thecontrol of all measuring functions.
The clearly arranged four-linedisplay is 24 characters wide and itprovides simultaneous display of allmeasurement results, as well as theoptions provided by the functionkeys. The display and reticle areilluminated, providing easyoperation in poor conditions ordarkness.A minimum sighting distance ofonly 0.80m (2.62ft) ensures reliableresults even in confined spaces.
Measuring accuracy and reliablilityThe ETh 50 provides automaticcorrection for errors associated withtraditional theodolites, deliveringaccurate results with fewerobservations. Errors eliminatedinclude: Sighting axis error, Index error, and Collimation error
For classical angle measurements, setting out right angles, plumbing and alignment measurements.
