    3D Ray Models Module Create from Grid DataThis exercise requires OMNI 3D Workshop and a Grid file.

    Open an existing project or create a ne project ith the projection s!ste" corresponding to the Gridarea.

    Create a 3D Ray ModelWith the Grid centered in the #dit $ie % cop! the coordinates of a point so"e here in the &outh'Westcorner.

    In the (roject Tree% right'click on 3D Ray Models | Create NEW Model .

    ) dialog opens here !ou can na"e the "odel and sa*e it. ) second dialog opens pro"pting for a +ingrid definition. The "odel needs to co*er at least the area of the sur*e! +in grid% +ut can +e larger. )ll

    para"eters in this dialog are "easured in the project,s "ap units -feet or "eters .

    Bin Length#nter /012 in +oth text +oxes% and check Loc

    Grid !rigin(aste the copied coordinates

    "otal Grid Length#nter /01112 for the #n$line length and /01112 for the %$line length

    Grid #n$line &'imuth#nter / 12 and check Loc
