CoachesEach team will have a Kaptiva Sports Academy coach (holding the UEFA Prolicense), who will be accompanying the team to all training sessions: FCBEscola andKaptiva Sports Academy trainings, freestyle soccer workshop, and friendly games.Friendly games will be played either 7v7 or 11v11 depending on the age groupand/or friendly games availability. The decission of who plays where during thefriendly games will be solely made by our UEFA Pro coaches.

Training facilitiesDue to renovations in both the Camp Nou Stadium & Mini Estadi, FCBEscolatraining sessions will take place in adjacent fields. The training facilities used for theFCBEscola Clinic 2016 will be confirmed closer to the date.For the Kaptiva Sports Academy training sessions and freestyle soccer workshopwe will use a soccer field close to the Hotel.

FC Barcelona was founded in 1899 by a group of Swiss, English andCatalan soccer players led by Joan Gamper, the club has become asymbol of Catalan culture and Catalanism, hence the motto "Més queun club" (More than a club).

FCBEscola elite training sessions will be led by professionalFCBEscola coaches. Every session lasts 90 minutes and groups willbe formed by approximately 12 players per each FCBEscola coach.Players will be divided into groups according to their categories.

Kaptiva Sports AcademyElite Training

The goal of our elite training sessions is to improve all technical andtactical aspects by applying our methodology working tactics,technique, strategy and pressure in both defence and attack.

Team trainings main objective is to develop team cohesiveness andtactics. Training sessions are designed to improve both technically &tactically as an individual player as well as part of the team.

OUR COACHESAll our coaches have the highest degree in soccer training (UEFA Prolicense), and they apply a very similar methodology to FCBarcelonasince our Technical Director, Joan Dellà, participated in differentFCBarcelona summer camps all over the world as a coach, and alsowas a Technical Director of the FCB Escola in Dubai.

TRAINING FACILITIESKaptiva Sports Academy has its training facilities in the city of SantCugat (25-minute drive from Barcelona). However, for the 2016 Clinicweek, we will use a soccer field based in Barcelona.

Friendly games

In order to have a better soccer experience, we will organize twofriendly games per team so the players can have the opportunity toput into practice all that has been learned during the trainingsessions.

Friendly games will be played against local teams.

Youth Categories

Freestyle Soccer Workshop

Jose Ferreras, an Spanish freestyler champion and within the Top 50 of freestylers of the world, will be conducting a freestyle soccer workshop with the players.

He will teach the players how to use some technical skills to pass through and control some situations within a match. Messi, Neymar, Ronaldinho and many other great players have used these technical skills to become better soccer players.
