middle-income countries with only 48% registered vehicles

HOW ABOUT INDONESIA?

During 2010 there are 31.234 road traffic deathcases in Indonesia and 21% (more than 6.500cases) of victims are pedestrians

17 people died every day due to road traffic injuries.

Conclusion

The result from this pilot project indicated thatmost of pedestrians less concerned about theirown safety and driver’s noncompliance orignorance to the safety of pedestrian remains high.
