A Cloverbud Club is
• Small group of six to eight children (per adult helper)
• For grades K-3rd
• Enrolled as a group through the LSU Ag Center 4-H Program
At the first Cloverbud Meeting
• Introduction and Application form
• Pledge of Allegiance
• 4-H Pledge
• 1-2 activities (youth can help decide)
• Snacks
• Clean Up
• 2nd and 4th Thursdays 5:30 – 6:30pm or combine it with Girl Scouts Troop

Objectives of Cloverbuds
• Develop self-understanding and confidence in a relaxed setting
• Gain knowledge through the experiential learning process
• Develop positive attitudes toward learning
• Develop on-going relationships with caring adults and older youth
• Make new friends
• Learn how to share, work together, compromise, and resolve conflict

• October – Nutrition Knowledge – Halloween Party
• November – Label Lingo – Bring can goods for Northwest Food bank
• December – Christmas Breakfast/ Senior Citizen for Christmas Joy
• January/February – Science Project Competition
