Livestock

Gray County Jr. Livestock Show is Thursday, January 16, for lambs, goats, and cattle,

and Saturday, January 18th for swine and the sale to follow in the evening.

Swine Project meetings will pick up on February 21st at 5:30 at the Annex.

The Gray County Buyers Club supports & helps fund the Gray County Livestock Show as well as the Top of Texas Jackpot Shows. Basically, if we didn’t have this volunteer organization, we wouldn’t have the opportunity for our children to show their livestock in Gray County. Parents of ALL 4-H Livestock youth are requested to attend and participate in the Buyers Club meetings, as your opinions count and ideas matter when it comes to the show rules, barn clean up dates, participation during shows and voting in new or existing board members.

**Excused Absences from school**

Please inform the Gray County Extension Office via e-mail, to [email protected], or phone, at 669-8033, of any 4-H activities that you plan to attend outside of school so we can request your

absence to be excused.
