What advice would you give to rising seniors?

“Take lots of pictures and videos of everyday life and of your friends! I definitely wish I had done that more this year. Cherish the time you have, and don't take it for granted. As we've clearly learned, everything can change in an instant.”

“My biggest hope for the class of 2021 is that they use their creativity and passion to ensure that community-based high school traditions are maintained. Everything will be different than it was, but that is all the more reason to find new ways to strengthen the bonds of our community rather than allowing them to fall into disrepair.”

“College is not a prize; it is a fit. Tell yourself that the reason why you were not accepted into a college was not because you were not good enough for it. Tell yourself the reason you were not accepted into a college was because it was not good enough for you. By this I mean that university did not fit you.”

“Don’t forget to be there for each other - a good human is always more valuable than a good student, for everyone else and for you as well”

“Take pictures and videos of even the simplest of times with your friends. I wish I had memories documented of when we were just sitting around or going for a drive.”

“Don't put off letters of recommendation. Do them as soon as you get the packet from your counselor, and fill out the packet. “

“Just enjoy high school and all it has to offer. I know that we hate being at school and all the work; but its the fact that all of you guys are together and will be there for each other that makes it all worth it! You guys got it!”
