The varsity boys scored 199 points, the jayvee boys posted 171, the varsity girls scored 219 points, and the jayvee girls came out on top with 189. “The kids did an excel- lent job of competing and it was a good meet for us,” Coach Todd McCauley stated. “We are still working to get everyone healthy and in the right spots. We will be com- peting at the Viking relays in Lago Vista on Thursday, March 12 during spring break. Track teams win at Bosqueville MCGREGOR GIRLS POWERLIFTING COACH LESLEE DRUMMOND CONGRATULATED her girls for qualifying for Regionals. Leslie Alvarez finished 5th in her weight class with a 805 total, Cheyenne McDon- ald placed 7th in her wight class with a 790 total and Carli Evans finished 9th in her weight class with a 455 total. The McGregor tennis teams have been busy the last two weeks after a couple of rainouts delayed the begin- ning of the season. In Glen Rose, Christian Acevedo and Anthony Panto- ja won the consolation cham- pionship of the varsity tour- nament while Leah Mergener finished fourth. Carson Hamilton in girls singles and Jayden Benitez and JL Singer won their con- solation championships in the Jayvee division. Playing in the China Spring JV tournament, Jayden Benitez won the consolation championship. Carson Ham- ilton and the team of Caitlin Jones and Beatrice Lanci each finished in 3rd place. A collection of Bulldogs brought home medals from a Waco Tournament. In the A division, the mixed doubles team of Cort Boehme and Natalie Aviles and the boys doubles team of Christian Acevedo and An- drew Boles each finished in 2nd place. In the B division, An- thony Pantoja won the singles championship while the team of Alejandra Mercado and Angelina Martinez finished in 3rd place. McGregor’s High school track teams swept the field by placing first in the team divi-sions at the Bosqueville Re-lays held on Thursday, March 5.

The varsity boys scored 199 points, the jayvee boys posted 171, the varsity girls scored 219 points, and the jayvee girls came out on top with 189.

“The kids did an excel-lent job of competing and it was a good meet for us,” Coach Todd McCauley stated. “We are still working to get everyone healthy and in the right spots.
