GENERAL MISSIONTrinity Offshore 41 Meter Fast Patrol Vessel (“41M FPV”) is designed to operate in various climates and adverse sea conditions to fulfill the following duties:

The 41M FPV Hull is designed for a top speed of 44 knots at half load displacement at Sea State 3 and survivable in Sea State 5. The vessel will be built of aluminum and classed in accordance with the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) Rules for High Speed Naval Craft, High Speed Naval Craft Code (HSNC), but will not be designed to any shock criteria.

Weapons Systems:The following weapon and surveillance system shall be installed on the 41M FPV. Builder will install the weapon bases. The actual installation and testing of the weapons will be done in-country after delivery:

One (1) 30mm cannon, MSI DS30M-A2 Gun, that is remotely operated and possesses integrated sensor controlled fire systems for defense against anti-ship missiles and surface threats like Fast Inshore Attack Craft (FIAC).

One (1) Raytheon MK15 MOD 31 SeaRam Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) in guided missile defense system with self-contained 11 missile launch assembly for increased range layered protection with standard controls.

Two (2) ROSY-N, Rapid Obscuring System-Naval countermeasure mortar launching system with standard controls for chaff deployment against various airborne threats.

Shipboard defense in depth mixture of two (2) 7.62mm MK43 Mod 1 and one (1) .50 caliber M2A2 QCB machine gun and one (1) 40mm HK GMG grenade machine gun.

Crew complement of personal defense weapons to be consistent with standard Saudi Arabian issued pistol and carbine in quantities sufficient to equip each member of the ship’s reaction force/ boarding team. Additionally, equal quantities of weapons sufficient to equip the remaining members of the crew with either pistols or carbines.

Two (2) Long Range Acoustic Devices (LRAD) provide focused high frequency audible energy that can be used for determination of intent or threat as a hailing device or to deliver an aural disruptive warning tone.

Forward looking infra-red (FLIR) detection is integrated in MSI 30mm cannon defense system for threat identification in reduced visibility. An additional independent FLIR is provided under the navigation system package.

Various other electro-optics, including thermal imagers, night vision devices, and infrared laser identification devices to be weapon mounted or man deployed (hand held or helmet mounted) for threat detection, acquisition, and engagement shall be provided by Buyer

Forward looking infra-red (FLIR) detection is integrated in MSI 30mm cannon defense system and can be used independently for threat identification in reduced visibility.
