PLEASE NOTE: This Grinder features an all hardened steel geartransmission. This causes the Grinder to operate at a higher volume andtemperature than other Grinders. This is normal and will not affect theGrinder’s performance.

5. PlaceoneoftheGrinder PlatesontotheAuger Pin; align the notch in the Grinder PlatewiththePinintheGrinder Head.
6. Install the Front Ring Nut, DO NOTOVERTIGHTEN. Turn the Front Ring Nut untilitmakescontactwiththe Grinder Plate,then make 1/4 turn more to tighten intoplace.

10. InserttheremainingThumb ScrewthroughtheFront Tray TabandintothethreadedholeontheSafety Flap.
11.Loosen the Allen Screws in the Tray GuarduntilthescrewendsareflushwiththeTray Guard (Figure 12).
12.AlignthecurvedendsoftheTray Guard withthecurvedsidesoftheTray.TheholeontheTray GuardwilllineupwiththeholeintheTray.
13.ThetabsoftheTray GuardwillfitoverthesidesoftheTray.GentlypressdownontheTray GuarduntilitfullyseatsontothesidesoftheTray,curvingintotheTray(Figure 13).
14.TightentheAllen Screws withtheAllen Wrench to secure the Tray Guard onto theTray. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN the Allen Screws.
12.NEVERoperateGrinderwithoutthe Tray andtheTray Guard securedinplace.
