421 Series Heavy Duty Clevis Hanger

Installation notes:

1 Slide pipe through Clevis Hanger or disassemble Clevis Hanger and place over pipe.

2 Install top hex nut on threaded rod (Threaded rod and hex nuts not provided).

3 Insert threaded rod into Clevis Hanger and secure with bottom hex nut.

4 Tighten cross bar bolt per table (minimum 1/4 turn).

5 For fire sprinkler applications, install and tighten hex nut (not provided)on bolt .

1 Insert shield into clevis hanger.2 Insert the three (3) tabs on the shield

into the slot on the clevis hanger.

3 Bend middle tab of shieldcompletely over lip of slot on clevis hanger to secure shield in place.
