The Garrett County 4-H staff continues to work closely withmembers of the Fair Board, Livestock Association, and theHealth Department to discuss possible options for youthmarket livestock events for 2020.
There is great community support for livestock shows and asale. Plans are continuing with a goal of providing marketlivestock shows and a sale, although the exact details are notavailable at this time.
Any member, volunteer or family that does not feelcomfortable or unable to participate in the shows or sale dueto health concerns, are not required to do so, and there will beno penalty.
4-H staff and all the other Extension O�ce employees areworking remotely and are continuing to provide resources forfamilies, farms, and businesses. Although the 4-H O�ce ismandated to remain closed to the public, our 4-H staff isavailable to answer any questions by phone or email. We will besending out updates on all 4-H activities as soon as decisionsare made. Please feel free to contact us if we can help you withanything.
