and your needs.

Take a quantum leap forward with PCR

Eleva’s advanced workflow.All stages, in-

cluding image export to PACS or the printer,

are completely streamlined and adapt to the

way you work. This does away with unneces-

sary extra work for the technologists, leaving

Pleasantly simple

PCR Eleva can be connected to your RIS

updating your patient list after the patient

checks in. In the Eleva concept the informa-

tion coming from the RIS is used to automa-

tically program the right Eleva presets, such

as for processing, printing and exporting. This

ensures maximum efficiency as there is no

need to manually re-enter any information.

You can monitor automatic processing of the

image and, thanks to barcoding, the image will

always be saved to the correct patient file.

The processed image is quickly available and

image thumbnails ensure easy navigation.You

can then manipulate the images and automa-

tically export them to PACS or the printer

once the examination is complete. At the

same time, the system can automatically send

examination information back to the RIS.

Your work becomes easier

Benefit from a clear user interface – available

as a touch screen to make things even more

convenient.All functions such as automatic

rotation and shuttering are intuitive. PCR

Eleva is designed around your needs and

adapts to the way you work. Experience also

just how easy customized exporting and

virtual image hanging can be.

Configuration at a glance

• One PCR Eleva reader per room

• Share information with every reader

• Use any reader in a cluster

• Full functionality at each workspot

PCR Eleva S and PCR Eleva S Plus

For decentralized installation, you can

choose between two compact, space-

saving, one-slot readers.While PCR Eleva S

delivers up to 78 plates per hour,

PCR Eleva S Plus allows for throughput of

up to 97 plates per hour. This means that

you can use just one PCR Eleva S Plus for

two rooms.

Eleva concept

Data from the RIS is automatically inter-

preted, adjusting parameters to those

Eleva presets which meet the require-

ments of the corresponding examination.

Just another example of PCR Eleva’s time-

saving, seamless integration.

Your reader-pset-up

Direct solution, direct

functionality

Having one reader available for each

examination room will minimize

walking distances for the technologist.

It gives each room complete, direct

functionality since every reader is

combined with PCR Eleva workspots.

As a result, you can carry out any

function in every room, including exam

scheduling, image processing, quality

verification and exporting.

In addition, you can cluster your

readers so that they can be used from

any workspot in the cluster. Images will

be shown on the workspot that

initiates the examination and all other

readers can serve as alternate read-

outs or backups, giving you more flexi-

bility and security.

r-per-room

One PCR Eleva reader for each X-ray room

Take a close look at your workflow needs and you might decide that Philips’

reader-per-room set-up is the right choice for you. With one workspot placed

directly next to each reader, you can perform all functions at one place.

Customizing PCR Eleva to your department and medical facility further

simplifies procedures.

Your central reader set-up

High-end solution, high

performance

After using your central Philips multi-

slot reader, the image follows the user

and is available at the workspot where

the examination was initiated.There,

the processed image can be viewed

immediately. If you value high-speed

digitalization, PCR Eleva Corado and

PCR Eleva CosimaX with their four

slots are the right readers for you.

On top of all the Corado features, the

CosimaX provides simultaneous dual

side reading of small imaging plates,

resulting in a 50% increase in detective

quantum efficiency (DQE).Therefore

the CosimaX is ideal for low X-ray

dose pediatrics and, combined with the

50µm pixel size, also for high resolu-

tion mammography.

*For mammography or pediatrics,

facilities with lower throughput

requirements may also use

PCR Eleva S Hi-res, which offers the

same benefits with single-slot reading.

Configuration at a glance

• Central reader with multiple workspots

serves multiple rooms

• Full range of functionality at each

workspot

• Cluster with additional PCR reader

(single or multi-slot)

• Use any reader in a cluster from any

workspot

PCR Eleva Corado and

PCR Eleva CosimaX

Both readers have a throughput of up to

165 plates per hour.To carry out high

resolution mammography or low X-ray

dose pediatrics, use CosimaX* to profit

from dual side reading of small imaging

plates and a 50 % increase in detective

quantum efficiency (DQE).

Unique possibilities with UNIQUE

PCR Eleva comes with UNIQUE advanced

processing software.With UNIQUE, you

can expect consistently high resolution

image quality right from the start with all

diagnostic information in a single image.
