Thursday 5/14: Home Assignments These activities should be completed on the Seesaw App. If you are unable to access this app, please complete these activities using the My Fundations Journal previously sent home. If assignments are completed offline, please upload pictures of completed work via Seesaw or email your teacher each day to confirm work has been completed. Thursday 5/14: Home Assignments

These activities should be completed on the Seesaw App. If you are unable to access this app, please complete these activities using the My Fundations Journal previously sent home. Fundations: 10 minutes

1) Drill-Sound Warmup - Assigned on Seesaw or have students look at the sound cards below. Students should practice saying the letters, keyword, and sound for each. Example: o- e home o ( all of these are long vowels that say their name)

2) Trick Words- Assigned on Seesaw or have students highlight the words none and nothing. Students should choose 3 letter boxes and practice saying the words in each box. Example- E – each every

3) Word of the Day- Assigned on Seesaw or in their Fundations Journal, have students write a sentence using one or both words: none nothing

Reading/Writing: 40 minutes

Select a book of your choice to read with someone in your house. What was the lesson learned in your book? Complete the template below and draw a matching picture. Check your work to make sure your sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with punctuation. Use your word wall (found on your teacher’s web site) to assist with your spelling.

Math: 30 minutes

1) 10-4 Day 2: Adding 10s and 1s using an open number line – Assigned on Seesaw.

Today, you will be learning more about how to add 10s and 1s using an open number line when solving word problems. This information is detailed in the vocabulary section along the top of image A below. Image B, blow, additionally includes examples of how to use an open number line to add! Then, in your Fundations Journal, please complete #8, #9, & #11 from image C below, by drawing the path taken on the number line. Looking for a challenge… try #10 as well!

Image D below includes the Exit Ticket Intro. You can use some of this knowledge as you complete Image E, below. Circle the important information in the word problem and then use the addends to complete #1 & #2.
