Dear Delegates,
Clinical Neurophysiology Subsection (CNPS) of Indian Academy of Neurology will be organising it’s annual conference, IANCNP-CON,
in August 2020 in Mumbai. These annual conferences have become great events attracting increasing number of subsection members, neurology residents in training, physiologists and technologists. Happy augury is that the CNPS is rapidly growing and with more than 100 members has become a vibrant organisation.
Clinical neurophysiology is a reection of cohesiveness and interdependence of basic neurophysiology, technology and clinical neurology with practical application in aiding diagnosis, conrmation of the site of lesion and prognostication. Practice parameters for electrodiagnosis and guidelines for a number of neuromuscular disorders developed by international expert groups have aided in standardizing the procedures and interpretation.
Dedicated sessions for technologists is an important component of the programme.
This conference will provide a focal point for sharing of knowledge and expertise. Twin goals of the promotion of knowledge in clinical neurophysiology among medical professionals, neurologists and physiologists and training of technicians of the Clinical Neurophysiology Subsection will be fullled.
Dr.Satish Khadilkar, Chairperson and Dr. Khushnuma Mansukhani, Secretary of the Organising committee have crafted an excellent scientic programme. I look forward to joining you all and learn advances and nuances of Clinical neurophysiology.
