Reading *Highly Suggested* Watch the following Persuasive Flocabulary Lesson by clicking the link or viewing in Ms. Proctor’s Google Classroom. After watching the lesson, complete the Poetry Persuasive Assignment in Google Classroom under the “Classwork” tab. Don’t forget to ‘turn in’ when done.

For a lower tech option: Watch the lesson, then answer the questions attached on pages 3-4 of the Choice Board and submit however is convenient.

Complete the Common Lit assignment about a folktale called Lazy Anansi. It is available in Ms. Proctor’s Google Classroom under the “Classwork” tab.

For a lower tech option: The story and questions are attached on pg 5-7. You can submit them to Ms. Proctor however is convenient for you when done (email, text, picture, share on a Google Doc).

Try to “escape” a Google Form by correctly typing in the secret code! First, read the story and answer the questions in Ms. Proctor’s Google Classroom under the “Classwork” tab. Want the story and questions read to you? There is a link for that in Google Classroom! Keep your answers with you as you pull up the “Escape the Google Form” link located in the same place in Google Classroom. Follow the directions on the form, and good luck!

Express Yourself! On a large sheet of paper, draw an outline of yourself. Draw all of your inherited features onto the outline. Around the outside of the outline, label all of your acquired features.Take a picture of your picture and send it to your teacher.

Bullock Museum interactive presentation:

“Gone to Texas” This will be a zoom meeting and a link will be provided. The lesson is on May 6th at 11:00 am. This is NOT required, but we would love it if you can attend. We apologize if it conflicts with any other scheduled meetings, but Bullock sets the schedule.

Here is a copy of the Bullock Activity page for the interactive lesson, “Gone to Texas” You may want to print this out before the presentation starts. It is NOT required to have a copy of this to enjoy the presentation, but it does add to the experience.
