Student Fellowship ProgramThe “OMICS ECUMENICAL STUDENT WINGS” is designed to enrich the educational captivity of students and encourage students to actively participate in International Conferences. It is a Support Program for Students by presenting posters/papers and at the same time creates a competitive environment among students and their contribution towards stimulation of research. Selected 2013 Student Fellows will be felicitated with a cheque of $100 each at the Conference Venue.

Best Poster AwardStudent Poster Competition is organized at OMICS Group Conferences, to encourage students and recent graduates to present their original research which will be later published in the OMICS Group Journals. All accepted abstracts will be presented at the poster sessions during the conference.

Young Researcher AwardThe Young Researchers Forum offers young researchers the possibility to meet and discuss research topics and methodologies, share and develop ideas, learn from each other and gain knowledge from senior researchers. Analytica Acta-2013 includes Workshop on

“Emerging Techniques/Platforms in Macromolecule Therapeutics and Biomarkers Analysis” which is being conducted by Dr. Michael Zhou, Bioanalytical Systems, Inc., USA.

The workshop mainly deals with the development of qualitative and quantitative methods using LC-MS/MS or other techniques to support macromolecule therapeutics and biomarker R&D. Some case studies and experimental analysis will be presented and discussed. It is apparent that these advances will facilitate the macromolecule drug discovery and development in the years to come.

Analytica Acta-2013

Las Vegas is the most populous city in Nevada, the seat of Clark County, and an internationally renowned major

resort city for gambling, shopping and fine dining. Las Vegas, which bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of

the World, is famous for the number of casino resorts and associated entertainment. A growing retirement and family

city, it is the 28th most populous city in the United States

The major attractions in Las Vegas are the casinos and the hotels. The most famous hotel casinos are located on

Las Vegas Boulevard on the portion of that road known as the Las Vegas Strip. These larger casinos are located

outside of the city. Many of these hotels are massive, providing thousands of rooms, with their large adjoining casino

areas. There are many hotel casinos in the city’s downtown area as well, which was the focal point of the city’s

gaming industry in its early days. Several large hotels and casinos are also located somewhat off the Strip, as well

as in the county around the city.

Some of the most notable casinos involved in downtown gaming are on the Fremont Street Experience which was

granted variances to allow bars to be closer together, similar to the Gaslamp Quarter of San Diego.

From Southern California - Travel north on I-15 and exit at Tropicana Ave. At the light, go left on Tropicana. Take

Tropicana west to Dean Martin Drive (2nd light). Turn left and the Hampton Inn will be on the right.

From Reno or Utah - Travel south on I-15 and exit at West Tropicana. At the light turn right on Tropicana (move to

left lane). At first light turn left on to Dean Martin Drive. The Hampton Inn will be on the right.

From the Airport

McCarran International AirportDistance from Hotel: 3.5 miles

Drive Time: 11 min.

Directions: Take the exit to Tropicana Avenue. Turn left and travel west for approximately 2miles, crossing Las Vegas

Boulevard and interstate 15. Turn left at the first light (dean martin drive). Hotel is on the right.
