Quality AccommodationThe Bombora Resort in Coolangatta offers homely 3 star motel style accommodation. All rooms overlook beautiful Goodwin Park with the retail precinct, clubs and white sandy beaches of Coolangatta within easy walking distance.

Rooms have private facilities including a balcony or access to the courtyard, walk-in showers, private toilets, flat screen televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and refrigerator. Other facilities include bar/dining room, guest laundry and swimming pool. Importantly, rooms are spread over three levels. Some guests may prefer a room with a view over the park, however, if stairs are an issue, a “pool level” room can be arranged.

On Extended Tour Packages, we book quality accommodation available. All accommodation is generally 3.5 - 5 star with ground floor units or lifts provided.

Pre and Post Tour Accommodation is generally available on request at an additional cost.

National Parks AccreditationBombora is fully accredited to enter National Parks and we include the fees at no extra cost to our guests.

How Do I Join a Bombora Tour?Bombora Resort Based Tour Packages

Plane: Many of our guests choose to fly into the Gold Coast airport. We offer our guests a complimentary airport transfer service from 8.30am- 4.00pm every Tuesday.

Train: If you are travelling from NSW then board the CountryLink Train service and it will be our pleasure to pick you up from Tweed Heads.

If you are travelling from QLD, we can pick you up from the Varsity Lakes Train Station.

Car: Should you wish to travel to Bombora by car, you are welcome to leave your car in the Bombora car park for the duration of your holiday.

DAY 3 – MT COOTHA TEA HOUSE & SOUTHBANK GARDENS (B,D) Today we travel northward into Brisbane City. Our first stop is at the incredible Mt Cootha lookout and tea house. Make sure you have your camera with you as the city views from this location are truly spectacular. After our refreshment stop we re-board the coach for a tour of the city, taking in the Botanic Gardens, Kangaroo Point and the Story Bridge before calling into Southbank. After dinner tonight you can choose to go for an evening at the Twin Towns Services Club.DAY 4 – BROADWATER CANAL CRUISE & SURFERS PARADISE (B,MT,L,D) Our first stop this morning is in Surfers Paradise where we undertake a cruise on the calm waters of the Broadwater. Tweed Coast EscapeDAY 3 – MT WARNING, UKI & STOKERS SIDING (B,MT,D)Today we make our way into the picturesque Mt Warning region. Our first stop is for morning tea off the coach at the World Heritage Rainforest Centre. Take some time to gain an insight into the formation of Mt Warning and the surrounding area. From here we visit the scenic villages of Uki and Stokers Siding and we stop at the Tweed Regional Museum, listen in as our guide explains the history of this spectacular region known as the Green Cauldron. DAY 3 – LAMINGTON NATIONAL PARK (B,MT,D)This morning you have a chance to tour through the beautiful Lamington National Park. We start by making our way south into the Green Cauldron for morning tea off the coach. From here we enter the lush ancient rainforest of Lamington National Park and make the short walk to the spectacular Natural Arch. This afternoon we enjoy lunch at the beautiful Bush Tucker Gardens, before stopping for a cool drink in the historic village of Tumbulgum. Tonight you can enjoy a quiet night in with friends or visit the fabulous Twin Towns Services Club.

DAY 4 – GLOW WORMS, SKYWALK MT TAMBORINE (B,MT,D)Our first stop today is at the acclaimed Tamborine Mountain Skywalk. The skywalk is a wonderful rainforest experience offering incredible views. Spend time exploring the Eco Gallery and the Birdwing Cafe. Further up the range we provide you with time to explore Mt Tamborine Brewery and Witches Chase Gallery. This afternoon we call into Mt Tamborine Glow Worms for unique wildlife experience. Tonight’s dinner is a special celebration dinner with lots of laughs. Make sure your bring your appetite.

DAY 5 – VILLAGE MARKETS (B)The Gold Coast’s famous markets have been operating for tens of years and offer an abundance of arts, crafts and local produce. If you’re looking for something fun to do today then board the coach as we unearth the treasures at these unique open air markets.

There is also the option to participate in a North Gorge walk that is a must for all visitors to Straddie and offers outstanding views across the ocean with ideal vantage points for spotting marine life and taking instagram worthy pics! Once back on the boat and on the way home a yummy fresh lunch is served with a complimentary cold beer, wine or soft drink. In the afternoon walk cross the road to return to the hotel for a brief break or just have a relaxed afternoon tea at the Harbour. Tonight we walk to Raby Bay Harbour to continue our food exploration journey!

DAY 5 – FREE DAY (B)Today is your free day. Why not book an optional day cruise to Moreton Islands, or enjoy your day at the Harbour, walk on the beautiful beaches at the Raby Bay. If you are visiting at the end of the month, you could visit the popular night markets at the Harbour (4-8pm), another wonderful experience.

DAY 6 – CLEVELAND SUNDAY MARKETS (B)Today we walk to the popular Cleveland Sunday Markets. Enjoy your treasure hunting journey for as long as you want. There are a wide range of food options in the neighboring shopping centre. Return to the hotel at your own pace.

DAY 7 – REDLANDS MUSEUM (B, D)This morning we board on bus and visit the Redlands Museum. Take time to explore the vast collections of the museum. We then move to Cleveland RSL Club to have lunch. In the afternoon we have a visit of the Cleveland Lighthouse, one of the first lighthouses built in the colony of Queensland which was a prototype for subsequent timber-structured lighthouses. Tonight we have a Farewell Dinner at Comfort Hotel Cleveland.

DAY 1 – DESTINATION CLEVELAND, QUEENSLAND (D)Take time to unpack, relax and settle in. Tonight meet your travelling companions at the welcome dinner at Comfort Hotel Cleveland.

DAY 2 – HISTORY OF THE REDLANDS (B)This morning we board on a bus and visit the IndigiScapes Centre, a popular local attraction. Situated on 14.5 hectares of serene natural bushland, IndigiScapes offers native botanical gardens, a native nursery, bush trails, a nature playground and café specialising in local cuisine with a bush tucker twist. Enjoy a tour and relaxed morning tea and lunch in a natural environment. After Lunch we board on bus again and tour the Historical Ormiston House, one of the finest examples of colonial architecture in Queensland which was built in the 1860s by Capt. Louis Hope who was to become known as the Father of the Australian Sugar Industry. We head back to hotel by bus and have a quick rest before dinner. Each night from tonight we walk cross the road and have own dinners at Raby Bay Harbour (just opposite the hotel) where there are a wide range of food options that everybody will find own

favorites and have relaxed dinner with friends while enjoying the peaceful harbour views.

DAY 3 – SIRROMET WINERY (B, L)Today we take a bus and spend a whole day at the award-winning Sirromet Winery: Go “behind the scenes” of the state-of-the-art winery facility and picturesque Mount Cotton vineyards to gain an insight into the winemaking process. Hear the tale of an Australian family who created one of the most famous wine brands in Queensland and conclude with a private wine tasting of 6 Sirromet wines. We have lunch at the Winery and have an optional Golf game afterwards or just walk around the beautiful vineyards. We head back to hotel by bus and tonight we have our own dinners at Raby Bay Harbour again to explore different food options that the Harbour has to offer.

DAY 5 - EUMUNDI MARKETS, HASTINGS STREET NOOSA (B,D)This morning we visit the Sunshine Coast’s famous Eumundi Markets. You’ll find many interesting stalls here all guided by the ethos of “we make it, bake it, grow it, sew it”! If you love food you’ll especially love these markets with fresh seafood, quality coffee, great chocolates and much much more. This afternoon we call into Noosa’s famous Hastings Street before making our way back to the hotel. DAY 6 - FREE DAY (B,D)Today is a great day to explore the Sunshine coast or relax by the pool and take the day at your own pace.

DAY 7 - AUSTRALIA ZOO, ETTAMOGAH PUB (B,D)We spend today at Australia’s most famous zoo ‘Australia Zoo’. Explore the Crocoseum, the Tiger Temple and Elephantasia; Australia’s largest elephant facility. See the many spectacular wildlife shows and exhibits that take place throughout the day in this incredible wildlife sanctuary. This afternoon we visit the world’s most photographed pub, The Ettamogah Pub. Enjoy a cool drink or a walk through the eclectic display of Australian memorabilia inside, it’s a must see.

DAY 1 – SUNSHINE COAST (D)Today is the start of your holiday. On arrival we will transfer you to the hotel with time to unpack and relax. This evening is a fun night meeting your travelling companions at the welcome dinner.

DAY 2 - GINGER FACTORY, PUMICE STONE PASSAGE CRUISE (B,D)This morning we visit Yandina, home of the world’s largest Ginger Factory. We enjoy a guided tour of the property and sit down to a delicious tasting of ginger treats manufacturerd on site. This afternoon we board our vessel for a cruise down the beautiful Pumice Stone Passage.

DAY 3 – GLASS HOUSE MOUNTAINS, MONTVILLE (B,D)Today we climb the Blackall Ranges and take in the stunning views of the Glass House Mountains. At the top of the range we enjoy a tasting at a local cheesery and explore the historic village of Montville. Take some time here to browse through the many galleries and curio shops. This afternoon we make our way to the cellar door for a tasting of some local wines before our return journey down the range.

DAY 4 – MOOLOOLABAH, UNDERWATER WORLD (B,L,D)Today we enjoy a tour of Queensland’s largest oceanarium and aquarium ‘Underwater World’. Take some time to walk through the incredible underwater tunnel and view the vast array of sharks, rays and coral on display. Enjoy the live seal show and a delicious lunch in the Octopus Café. On our way home this afternoon we visit Caloundra and stop for a photo opportunity at beautiful Kings Beach.
