...and how to avoid them
my name is Will
I’ve gathered a list of common mistakes made by clients when outsourcing studies to CRO’s.
Because seeing the same issues over and over again is
depressing…..
“Insanity is repeating the
same mistakes and expecting different results”
Discuss your projects early with CRO’s and be clear about when the
deliverable is required
Communicate with the CRO’s throughout the bid process. Update them on when you will make a decision, ask the CRO to update
you on their capacity to conduct the work.
Prepare all of the materials and info required to conduct the project so they are ready to go as soon as the quote is signed. Any delay will extend the timelines of the project
Plan a comprehensive kick off meeting and get the technical,
commercial and project management teams talking
Listening to the experience of your CRO costs you nothing; ignoring it can cost a lot more. Ask questions and take onboard recommendations
in your decision making.
