Trip to Fiji
Day 1
Arrival at Namale Resort.
Following orientation and registration, a champagne breakfast will be served at the
Bure Levu restaurant. Expect delicious fruit, freshly squeezed fruit drinks, Fijian
pastry basket and a hot meal with steaming Fijian coffee or a brew of local lemon tea.
If you wish, you can also expect a cup of Masala Chai. Following breakfast, you can
expect a tour of the resort and to be taken to your bure (pronounced boo-reh).
Black Pearl Presentation
J Hunter Pearls are export pearls that are farmed in the surrounding bays of
Savusavu. Join the J Hunter rep as they showcase their beautiful cultured pearls and
give you a rundown on the work that goes into the beauty of these pearls!
Beach Hut Lunch
It’s time to enjoy an amazing 3 course lunch prepared by the Namale chefs. They are
able to cater for all veg meals and if you wish, they are also able to prepare an
authentic Indian cuisine and can prepare Jain meals as well. Otherwise, eat to your
heart’s desire and choose from their every changing 3 course lunch menu. Your lunch
will be served at the beach hut right on the beach with amazing views of the Pacific
Ocean. Expect to be spoilt and you can even request for freshly picked coconut juice
should you wish.
Water Sports (combination of kayaking, wake-boarding, knee-boarding, water-skiing,
bare-foot skiing and banana boat rides) OR Snorkeling
You have a couple of options at this time and both are water based. You can either
enjoy an afternoon of fun water sports or you can visit our house reef. Either way, we
can guarantee that you can expect an amazing experience from our friendly and
helpful staff.
Spa Therapy
Can we suggest a bit of pampering at the Namale Spa? It is the #1 spa in Fiji. You can
choose from the Savasava Facial treatment, signature Ultimate Fusion treatment or
the traditional Fijian bobo (pronounced bom-boh). Whatever you choose, you can
expect to drift away into a euphoric cloud of blissfulness and pampering.
Cocktails, Meke & Dinner
As is the norm, you can expect to mix with our other guests for pre-dinner drinks. We
have arranged for a traditional meke (pronounced meh-keh) performance. The Fijian
language was never a written language until the European settlers came to Fiji in the
late 1800’s. As such, the history and stories of our people have also been passed on
from one generation to another by chants, songs and dances. We have arranged for
the people of Naidi Village to share with you a bit of their very unique history.
Following this, you can expect a 5-course dinner to be served from the Bure Levu
dining room.
Day 2
Breakfast
To enjoy a beauty of your very own bure, you can arrange for a room service
breakfast to be delivered to you. You can expect a set up overlooking the Pacific Ocean
and just a heavenly ambience first thing in the morning. You can order anything at all
that you wish and if you so desire, you can also expect a bottle of champagne on ice to
be delivered with your breakfast.
Indoor Entertainment
If you wish, we would like to recommend that you enjoy a quick 1 hour of indoor
activities at the only one-of-a-kind indoor activity centre in the South Pacific. You can
expect 2 ten pin bowling alleys, a 3D virtual golf simulator, darts, foosball, table
tennis, drop down screen for movies and a self-service bar. The centre is known as the
Kava Bowl and is fully carpeted and spreads out 1500 square feet.
Horseback Riding and Waterfall Lunch
Meet up at the Dive and Activities Centre for a horseback riding through the virgin
rainforests of Namale. This is a guided tour and you can expect your guide to also give
you a medicine tour and point our leaves of medicinal value. You can also expect some
great Fijian story telling on your way to the waterfalls. The ride will take you to the
private waterfalls of Namale and you can expect to have lunch served at the
waterfalls. We recommend that you wear your swimmers in the event that you wish to
dip in the falls before returning to Namale.
Fijian Village Visit
There are in total 1166 villages scattered across 333 islands in Fiji. This trip to the
village will give you an opportunity to see firsthand the life that is lived in a Fijian
village coupled with the layout of a village and items of interest both historically and
culturally. The village that we will be visiting is Vivili. In keeping with the tradition of
the people, we ask that you wear clothing that covers both your knees and shoulders.
Cocktails and Dinner
We invite you to join other guests for pre-dinner cocktails at the Bure Levu bar.
Following cocktails, you can expect dinner to be served on one of our private decks
mounted on the cliff face and overlooking the ocean. Dinner is 5-courses and you can
expect to hear the waves lap gently on the shoreline below as you sample succulent
meats and fresh seafood and sip on fine wines with a blanket of stars overhead.
Day 3
Breakfast
Enjoy a wonderful breakfast at the Main Bure overlooking the Pacific Ocean. This will
be a great start to your day and allow you to take in the majesty and beauty of our
amazing location.
Coconut Show
In Fiji, the coconut tree is known as the Tree of Life. Join us as we show you first hand
the uses of the humble coconut. It has for many guests been a fun and information
packed activity and we invite you to join us for the experience.
Discover Scuba Diving Course (“crash-course” certification for non-divers)
Namale has an amazing range of marine lift in its backyard – the Pacific Ocean. We
highly recommend that you make the most of the location and get introduced to the
Pacific Ocean. This courser has a minimal investment and gives you an idea of what to
expect as a diver. It does not make you a certified diver. You can expect theory, a pool
session and a dive in the ocean – truly amazing!
Golf Putting
Namale has a quaint little putting course on property. Just before lunch, we
recommend a session of putting golf amongst the coconut trees and island breeze.
Something different and new to pass the time in beautiful Namale. There is also a life
size golf course if you wish for a session on the Namale greens.
Lunch is Served
Enjoy a fabulous picnic lunch under a canopy of trees around the Namale golf course.
Lunch is set up at a beautiful area on the golf greens where you can hear the trickling
of the nearby stream and take in all that Mother Nature has blessed us with. You can
expect privacy and will be picked up in an hours’ time OR you can take a beautiful
stroll back to the resort via the golf course and Pacific Ocean.
Afternoon Snorkel
Time to head back into the ocean and check out one of our many snorkeling sites. If
you are not a strong swimmer or are unable to swim we will arrange for a guide for
you. You can take in the beauty of our marine life and all that the ocean has to offer.
Cocktails and Kava Ceremony
Join us as we re-enact the age old traditions of a kava ceremony complete with
traditional clothing. Learn about kava; Fiji’s traditional drink and take part in an
authentic kava ceremony. We will also have our talented Namale band boys on call to
serenade you with some of our beautiful traditional songs and fill the air with their
melodious voices.
Following the kava ceremony, we have arranged for dinner to be served from the
Kava Bowl; Fiji’s only one-of-a-kind indoor entertainment centre. Great place for a
fun night OR you can watch one of Namale’s uploaded Bollywood movies.
Day 4
Breakfast
Experience the beauty of the Veidomoni Deck as you have a wonderful champagne
breakfast overlooking the Pacific Ocean and taking in all that Mother Nature has
given to Namale.
Savusavu Town Trip
Check out one of our “busy” days in Savusavu where you can expect villagers and
farmers from the highlands to make their way into town to display their ware and
fresh produce. We will depart the Namale marina via launch (Namale Pearl) for our
trip into the township. You can also expect a tour through our town and you can also
expect to see our geothermal hot springs that are famous throughout the Fijian islands.
You can expect to be back in time for lunch.
Lunch
Enjoy a lovely 3-course meal in Namale’s restaurant. If by this time you are after some
Indian food, and then just let the team know that you would like to try out their
version of an Indian thali. You will find their spices similar yet different and their
Indian food authentic with a fusion of great Indian spices. Otherwise, be guided by the
pre-arranged menu.
Hydrotherapy Room
You MUST try the Hydro-therapy room during your time at Namale. It’s the only one
of a kind in Fiji and offers 4 aromatherapy tubs, a waterfall massage, a hot tub,
plunge pool, steam room and 2 person showers! The treatment normally takes around
75-minutes. It’s a great way to spend the afternoon.

Meet up with the other guests at the bar for some yummy Namale cocktails. The
Namale serenaders will be back and you can expect a session of kava drinking, Fijian
storytelling and just an overall great night of fun. It’s your last night tonight, and the
Namale staff will have arranged for you a special surprise dinner dine out! Enjoy it
with compliments of The Wanderers.
