FURTHER INVESTIGATION REQUIRED

• Other options to increase flexibility: e.g. encouraging people to take unpaid leave, possibly supported through tax benefits

• Department of Labour to provide information to help employers to understand how flexible arrangements can be implemented under the current legislation

• Contestable pool of funding for tourism and other key sectors

• Create jobs in NZ by ensuring carbon economy costs are reinvested in NZ

• Extend bonding arrangements to other occupations

• Arrangements to support the continuation of training – particularly for apprentices

• Rapidly place skilled workers, particularly tradespeople into teaching positions e.g. polytechnics
