Maybe you've already done them. Maybe you haven't. Act accordingly. B) Come up with ways you could recover if this fear came true. Understand that most of your fears will never happen and, even if they do, you are capable and strong enough to handle them. Come up with ways you could do repair the damage and rebuild your life if your fear does become a reality. BE STILL

1IDENTIFY YOUR FEAR

Make clear what your fear is. Define it. Many of us never get this far, so fear remains in the shadows, where it haunts us.

Shine light on your fear by describing it for what it is.

2IS IT REAL OR IMAGINARY?

Is there real danger happening in this moment? If so, take immediate action to make yourself safe and protect your life.

If the fear is not a response to an actual threat in this moment, it is imaginary. Remember, there is no other option for fear to exist.

3IS IT RATIONAL OR IRRATIONAL?

Is this fear reasonable? What is the evidence for and against it? Question the validity of the threat. Use logic.

If it’s irrational, let it go. Realize this fear is not serving you. It is limiting you and causing you to live in a state of suffering. There is no need to be attached to this fear. Remember, you don’t have

to believe everything you think.

4DO YOU HAVE ANY CONTROL OVER IT?

Is there anything you can do about it? Be honest with yourself.

If not, fear no longer has any use. Dissolve your attachment to it. There is no other logical option. It is not in your control and the decision is up to someone or something else. Understanding whether you have control will

allow you to freely dismiss many of your fears, rather than hold onto them for no reason.

5PREVENT AND REPAIR

A) If you have any control, identify the actions you can take to prevent this fear from happening. Maybe you've already done them.

Maybe you haven't. Act accordingly.

B) Come up with ways you could recover if this fear came true. Understand that most of your fears will never happen and, even if they do, you are capable and strong enough to handle them. Come up with ways you could do repair the damage and rebuild your life

if your fear does become a reality.
