    EAE Application Process1. Application – Students who are keen can submit their

    applications in May 2021 at www.ite.edu.sg2. Selection – Shortlisted applicants will have to undergo

    interviews and/or aptitude tests.3. Offer & Acceptance – Conditional offers will be given to

    successful applicants. Applicants who accept the offer within a specified period will get a place in ITE as long as they meet the minimum entry requirements (MERs) of the course.

    I was in NCC (Air) and I took up enrichment programmes in Aerodynamics in secondary school. My passion in aeroplanes helps me to gain a place at ITE through the Early Admissions Exercise.

  • All successful applicants will go through a 10-week preparatory course starting in January 2022. Upon completion of this course, students will join ITE’s April 2022 intake for the Higher Nitec course they are enrolled in.

    To get direct admission to a related diploma course at one of the Polytechnics, you will be required to meet the qualifying criteria:

    # For Higher Nitec courses in Applied Sciences, Engineering or Info-Communications Technology, in addition to the qualifying GPAs, students are required

    to take up and pass a Mathematics elective at ITE to be eligible for articulation into Polytechnic courses under DPP. GCE ‘N’ (Academic) holders with at

    least a grade C in GCE ‘O’ Level Mathematics will be exempted from this requirement.

    ^ CCA grades will be used for computing the students’ net GPA at ITE for selection and posting to a Polytechnic Diploma course.

    * DPP students who successfully complete the Higher Nitec courses and attain the required minimum qualifying Higher Nitec Grade Point Average (GPA)

    scores are guaranteed a place in the 1st Year relevant Polytechnic Diploma courses that are mapped to their Higher Nitec courses. Students who meet

    the minimum qualifying GPA for 2nd Year entry are not guaranteed admission into Year 2 of one of the mapped courses. Admission is based on merit,

    subject to vacancies in the courses.

    Application Process1. Receive GCE ‘N’ Level results.

    2. Application period: 5 calendar days starting from 2:30pm on the 1st day of GCE ‘N’ Level results release until 5pm on the last day of application.

    3. Check application results and decide whether to accept the offer (refer to ITE website for course acceptance period).

    4. Successful applicants to report to your posted College to register for your course and make payment for first term school fees.

    5. Start your 10-week preparatory course in January and embark on your Higher Nitec course in April.

    Technical Diploma in Culinary ArtsMaster the necessary skills and expertise to set up and operate a restaurant, manage its culinary operations, dinner events, purchasing, sales and F&B budget. Conduct R&D to introduce new menus and concepts for a French restaurant set-up. Graduates of the Diploma course will also have an opportunity to study for a Dual Bachelor’s Degree in International Hotel and Restaurant Management at Institut Paul Bocuse.

    Technical Engineer Diploma in Automotive EngineeringPick up comprehensive skills and knowledge in analysing and resolving complex technical problems associated with motor vehicles, managing workshop maintenance and repair services, rendering technical advice and providing workshop services to motorists. Graduates of the Technical Engineer Diploma (TED) in Automotive Engineering course will be eligible to apply for admission to the related NUS Bachelor of Technology Programmes [subject to meeting specific entry requirements] and relevant Universities of Applied Sciences in Germany.

    Offered in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MEYS), Baden-Württemberg, Germany and conducted by ITE in partnership with our prestigious partner institution, Carl-Benz-Schule, Gaggenau, Germany.

    Technical Engineer Diploma in Machine TechnologyGet equipped with a wide-range of skills and knowledge in the area of machine equipment design and building, including making, assembling, testing and commissioning in the field of precision engineering. Graduates of the TED in Machine Technology course will be eligible to apply for admission to the related NUS Bachelor of Technology Programmes [subject to meeting specific entry requirements] and the Universities of Applied Sciences in Germany.

    The ITE Technical Diploma in Culinary Skills is a challenging yetenriching course. It provides me with invaluable skills and knowledge in running a fast-paced kitchen and helps me in my career aspirations. Starting from a Junior Sous Chef at Les Amis, I am now a full-time Sous Chef at El Fuego with 13 staff working under me. I hope my training at ITE and experience in culinary and restaurant management wouldhelp me open my own restaurant in the future.
