it was the 11th of the original 13 colonies• New York's state bird is the Blue Bird• New York's state tree is the sugar maple• New York has a song written after it called I LOVE NEW YORK it

• Capital City: Salem• Was made a state in Feb. 14, 1859• Oregon's state flag has different pictures on both side one

side has a heart shaped shield with an eagle on top, surrounded by thirty-three stars. ( 33 star because that’s how many states where the united states in 1859) and the other side of the flag has a beaver.

250 miles of shoreline along Lake Michigan. These figures represent more than any other county in the country.
