IntroductionThe purpose of this document is to guide the person installing an XES System. There are manypossible configurations of a system. This guide clarifies the steps necessary to complete aninstallation of a system.

8825 Printer Procedure1. Check space and power against requirements.

2. Install 8830 printer. Go to 8825/8830 Printer Service Manual, section 6.

3. Install AccXES Controller. Go to AccXES Controller Service Manual, section 6.Note: When installing firmware 8.0, the V8.0 Activation Key must be installed for basicfunctions.

4. Install Finishing option, if included in installation.

5. Download AccXES Client Tools if necessary. Go to AccXES Client Tools User Guide.

6. Install the ACT into one customer PC.

7. Install the customer-requested drivers on one PC.

8. Perform the customer training. Go to the XES Synergix 8825/8830/8850/8855 Digital SolutionParticipant Guide.


8850 Printer Procedure1. Check space and power against requirements. Go to Appendix A.

2. Install 8850 printer. Go to 8850 Printer Service Manual, section 6.








510DP Printer Procedure1. Check space and power against requirements. Go to Appendix A.

2. Install 8850 printer. Go to 510DP Printer Service Manual, section 6.

3. Install AccXES Controller. Go to AccXES HFT Controller Service Manual, section 6.

2. Install X2 TECH printer. Go to ColorgrafX X2/X2 TECH Ink Jet Printer Service Manual,section 6.
