Files andCompilers
An ASCII file thatdefines a name anddata type for eachMark V hardwareI/O point.
IO.ASG SITE.ASG
FACTORY.ASG ALLOCSSP.ASG
An ASCII filecontainingthe databaseof Site assigned sparesignal point names,(variable and logic)
An ASCII file containingthe database of GEDSassigned spare signalpoint names. (variableand logic)
An ASCII file containingthe database of ProcessAlarms and Double-wordvariables.

specific) point definition template file.
English, Custom, Hardwareor Metric scale definitionfiles.
Part of the Main DictionaryFile which contains:memory mappedinformation includingname, memory locationand internal point numberComplied by DDLOCATE.
Part of the Data Dictionaryit contains informationabout each signal (logicor real) of the unit.Compiled by DDUTIL

SEQ_Q.DAT (.AP1)
SEQ_B.DAT (.AP1)
IO_CFG.DAT
IO_CFG.EXE
IOCFG_Q.DAT (.AP1)IOCFG_B.DAT (.AP1)
These files are producedby the IO_CFG.EXE andare ready to be downloaded. They contain the <Q> and<B> hardware configuration(regulator and other I/Ospecifications)
Compiled <B> segmentsCompiled byCOMP_SEQ.EXE Theycontain the <B> software(Non-critical sequencing)
Compiled <Q> segmentsCompiled byCOMP_SEQ.EXE Theycontain the <Q> software(sequencing for protectionand control)
The configuration of allInput and Output hardwareon the Mark V is determinedby this compiler. Thisfunction can be selectedfrom the Main Menu.
The purpose of thiscompiler is to process theUNITDATA.DAT,MSTR_SEQ.CFG,PRIMITIVE.DEF,and BIGBLOCK.DEF and create the segmentdata files SEQ_Q.DATand SEQ_B.DAT.
Defines one of ten or moredefault card specific PROMdefinition files which are usedby the IO_CFG.EXE. It formsthe MK V hardwareconfiguration definition filefor <Q> and <B>.
ASCII source files for the<Q> and <B> segment files. These files are defined inMSTR_SEQ.CFG andcompiled with theBIGBLOCK.DEF &PRIMITIVE.DEF filesby the COMP_SEQ.EXE(creates the segment data files)
PRIMITIVE.DEFBIGBLOCK.DEF
These two files contain theinformation defining the BigBlock Language and thePrimitive Block functionsavaliable to the MSE.EXEThey also contain the interfaceinformation used by thedocumentaion function.
The purpose of thiscompiler is to process theUNITDATA.DAT,PRIMITIVE.DEF,& BIGBLOCK.DEFThis program creates thesegment source files.(Typical file names:SEQ_TRB1.SCR,SEQ_AUX.SRC)
MSTR_SEQ.CFG
In order to be executableeach CSP Segment musthave a name, scan rate, and skew defined in thisfile. It is used by theCOMP_SEQ.EXE toproduce the executablecode that is downloaded.
STAGE LINK
The purpose of thiscomplier is to processthe GEDS Templateand the database filesto form the unsortedMark V memory map.
DDLOCATE.EXE
The purpose of thiscompiler is to process theunsorted UNITDATA.DATfile and produce a sortedmemory map.
DDUTIL.EXE
This compiler processesand transmits all thedata files to the EEPROMon the DCC_Card in theMark V.
