QUESTIONS
ITEM NO. 1 Question: Is a cost estimate/range available for project? Answer: $1,300,000 + ITEM NO. 2 Question: Is this project open for bid and are there updated plans and specs
available? Answer: The Project is open for bid to the Airport’s four (4) pre-approved
on-call general contractors. Sub-contractors should contact one of the Airport’s four (4) pre-approved on-call general contractors for plans, specifications and to be included on one or more of their teams. The approved general contractors are Crescrent Construction, Paulsen Construction, Pine Tree Construction and Saunders Construction Inc. See the attached attendance list for additional information.
ITEM NO. 3 Question: Several of the drawings would indicate that the overhead door is
sectional door. (Ref detail 8/A601) The specs are for a sectional door. If the sectional door is wanted, we would want to have 24” high lift track for jackshaft operator proper function. If standard lift track is required there will be

a trolley operator above the door with the motor approximately 14’ back from the opening. We have usually seen coiling doors in this application.
