5.9 Schedule ManagerIn Schedule Manager it is possible to schedule flights, modify, delete or cancel flights.

Schedule Manager handles schedule and ad-hoc changes and cancellations.

5.9.1 Look up menu

In this section it is possible to search the existing schedule for flights which meet the selected search criteria.You are able to perform search with no criteria - then the list of all flights for the exact season will appear.

The criteria we can perform the search by are the following:

Flight # Flight designator.

Origin Flight originating airport.

Destination Flight destination airport

Aircraft type Aircraft type.

Code share Search should only return schedule operated in codeshare by selected carrier.

Operated by Search should only return schedule operated byselected carrier.

Season This field is not a search criteria but only a help tofill in schedule period from and to.

Schedule period Search will return schedule active/inactive betweenthe selected from and to dates.

- From Default: [Current season].start_date

- To Default: [Current season].end_date

Search Clicking this button will perform the search withAND operators between all selected criteria.

Hide search panel after searching If checked search criteria will be minimized aftersearch result is received.IF no schedule returned search criteria will staymaximized even if checked.

To search for the schedule using the criteria press 'Search' button.

5.9.2 Flight schedule panel

Flight schedule panel shows all functionality, allows to create new schedule, edit existing, etc.

Refresh Refresh the list of flights

Generate SSIM file Open the Generate SSIM PopUp.

New flight Open a new panel for creating anew flight.

View flight Open detail panel for selectedflight in read only mode.

Edit flight Open detail panel in edit mode.

Activate flight Will activate the flight in thesense of making it visual for otherservices and SSIM export.

Copy flight Will create a copy of the selectedflight.

Create return flight Will create a return flight forthe selected flight. This means aflight:• Routing are reversed

• Schedule period is the same

• Day of operation are the same

• STD = STA_outbound +Turnaround time

• STA = STD +(STA_outbound- STD_outbound)+/-2*timezone difference

Update period wizard Will open the Schedule PeriodUpdate Wizard

Ad-hoc change Will open the Ad-hoc changeWizard

Ad-hoc cancel Will open the Ad-hoc cancelWizard

Reinstate ad-hoc Cancel a ad-hoc "cancellation"and the flight will return into thescheduled state.

Hide cancelled Hides cancelled flights

Show non-active only Shows non-active flights only

5.9.3 Search results on Flight Schedule panel

The list of exact flight schedules are shown.

COLUMN DESCRIPTION

Type Options:"S" for schedule"A" for ad-hoc changes

Flight Scheduled flight identifier.

ORG Scheduled origin of displayed leg.

STD Scheduled time of departure of displayed leg.

DST Scheduled destination of displayed leg.

STA Scheduled time of arrival of displayed leg.

Weekdays Scheduled days of operation.

Period Schedule period. Are not limited to the searchperiod. If you searching for winter 2009 andflight actually is scheduled from 01-01-2009 to31-12-2010, then the scheduled dates are shown.For ad-hoc changes one date will be shown.Example: 01 JAN 2009 - 31 DEC 2010

5.9.4 Create new flight

This function allows to add new flight and to set the schedule, aircraft types for this flight.

To create new flight press

and the following 'Create Flight' menu bar will appear.

At first fill general information about flight number, date and weekdays fields.

To create new flight number create flight identifier. In From and To fields fill the dates on which the flightwill be available. Weekdays field means that the flight will be available in certain days of week.

STC Service type (see SSIM page 503).Example: J

MC Marketing Carrier.Example: DX

RBDs List of RBDs to be sent to AMADEUS

Press Save when you are ready. Note that new flight needs to be activated, press Activate to activate.

To edit existing flight press

button on a flight Schedule bar.In edit mode you are able to delete the leg of the flight, to edit departure and arrival time, to change aircraft,it's versions. Others fields are not editable. Also you are able in edit mode to add new leg for the flight, but itwill be added with the departure airport the same as the arrival of the previous one.

When pressing

button on the flight Schedule bar the 'Create Return flight' edit mode appears, whereyou can chose flight number and 'Turn around time'. After editing these fields press

button and this leg will appear as a new leg in a flight information. Here you can also edit departure andarrival time. When the changes are made press 'Apply' button.

5.9.7 Period Update Wizard

To call Period Update Wizard press

button. The first page allows to select operation.

When you chose 'Cancel' functionality the next page is 'Input schedule period to cancel'. It means that youshould chose the reason of period update, chose the period (choosing custom radio button). By the help ofthis option you are able to set the certain period for the flight cancelling.

The second page is 'Select schedules to modify'. When you got more than 1 flight schedules you can chosethem manually.

The last page is the preview of schedules to be cancelled. Red-colored bar have the flights which you havechosen to cancel.

After pressing 'Finish' button you will see changes in the schedule list.

When you chose 'Split' functionality you are able to split the schedule into several parts. For example when itis needed to split the schedule, because of the date period splitting.

The first page appeared is the page 'Input schedule period to split'.

For example, when we chose radio button 'Custom' and change period 'From 04AUG11 To 10AUG11 ' andpress 'Next' button you will get to the second page 'Preview schedules'. To finish splitting and check theresult press 'Finish' button.

When you chose 'Extend' functionality you can extend manually the dates of the flight or the weekdays ofthe flight.

5.9.10 Ad-Hoc Change

You can do ad-hoc change for the scheduled flight. To start ad-hoc change wizard you should search for theflight and press

button.

Specify date and reason and press 'OK'.

In the bottom of the display you can see ad hoc change flight edit mode. Do the changes and press 'Save'.

You can see the result in Schedule Manager.

5.9.9 Ad-Hoc Cancel

To cancel the flight for the 1 day you are able to press

button.

The Ad-Hoc Cancel form will open. To cancel the flight for the 1 day you should chose the reason and dateand press 'Ok' button.

You can see the result in Schedule Manager.

Also you can see cancelled flight and reservations made on it in Violation Queue.
